Ente khalbile vennilavu nee (You are the moonlight in my dreamz...)

A normal mappila (mappila - Muslims in North Kerala) song with simple but beautiful lyrics - and this is the most popular song in Kerala now - from the movie "Classmates"

Review of the movie "Classmates":
A pakka commercial movie with good music, neat direction and one of the best performance from the leading young artists of Malayalam cinema. The best college campus movie which malayalam cine industry has watched over a period of 10-15 years.

As the name indicates, this is a story about a group of classmates who plan their gettogether after 15 years since they graduated from the college.
The whole story happens in the college. But I never felt bored watching the movie - a rare incident which happened with me for some 4-5 years.Prthvi Raj's performance and Lal Jose' direction is the main attraction of the movie.

Director Lal jose has proven that he is one of the leading directors in Malayalam cine industry with his ability to provide a smooth flow throughout the movie. No need to say that he might have done his groundworks in his best way before he started the action. Actors and actresses for the different roles are well chosen.
Prithvi Raj has made his part perfect - as a leader of Left oriented studant's federation in the college. His physique and personality will suit best to this hero character. He is the best choice for the character which Mohanlal would have done if this movie was taken around 15 years back!
Kavya has done her part very well (and she is my favourite cine actress after Parvathi). She had once told that she wanted to act in a campus movie (because she never went to college because she become a leading cine artist once she completed her school). So this is a dream come true for my favourite star.

The movie will take you to your college days. You will see strikes, union elections, small college fights, ogling, men's hostel jokes, hostel mess, drinking parties, love affairs, enimies-falling-in-love-eachother etc etc.
Credit goes to the director who is able to tell a story with many twists and to keep the audience 's concentration to the movie. He used 4 songs which come only at the suitable times...
The only drawback which I could think of this movie - characters do not seem to be in their late thirties as it claims. It is not a big deal, considering the performance of the artists and the director, is it?
You should never miss a chance to watch this movie irrespective of the language you speak. I am sure this will be taken into other languages too (since youth and college remains same irrespective of the language they speak).
You dont need to be a person who had love-affairs in the college to enjoy this movie. If you were able to enjoy the days in your college, then you will enjoy this movie too! I had planned to watch this movie with my wife. Unfortunately that did not happen. I wished she was with me while I watched the movie.I am going to see this movie again with her for sure.
No doubt, the best song in the movie - Ente khalbile vennilavu nee nalla pattukaraa...(Oh my dear singer, you are the moonlight in my dreamz...)
There is a silent love in the movie - which you may like it for sure. Watch the movie to enjoy it!

Starting trouble...

Hello my dear friends and welcome to my world of words...
I am a bit embarassed to say if this would be a world of "stories" or "writes". I am just trying to put some words into it.

Before I start, here is the reasons why I decided to go 'blogging' :

1) Its my roomate Mahe (Mahesh TR, known as "katta mangan" in Engineering) who gave the inspiration to start diary writing. Did it for couple of months, and found it very interesting. It is very nice to write and read about the various incidents in our day-to-day activities. And it has been quite a while since I wrote something - be it a letter or anything. So why not start again?

2) I will be wrong if I say my close friends (who have blogs) did not inspire me. They are Dhanu, Abhi and now its Sahai

3) I feel to spend some time other than just sleeping, watching movies, listening to music and yes doing nothing!

4) You don't really needs to be an expert writer in order to blog (well... I myself am the best example)

5) Its so nice to see something which is your own stuff, being accessed all across the world

6) You don't need to pay anything to get some space online (perhaps this could be the first reason for this)

7) Some bloggers don't allow you to enter comments unless you have blog account

8) I am living in a freeworld where I am allowed to express my feelings, thoughts and openions

9) Oh com...mon... are you not satisfied with 8 reasons? No more reasons! I am just starting it!

Like any other activities, I am going through some kind of starting troubles. What to write? How to write? What to hide and what not to hide? Well, then I decided to start the work and then decide about other activities.

So here am I... trying to put in some words from my thoughts, memories, feelings and my heart...
